1. natural : 형용사로서 '자연의', '타고난' 의 뜻

2. neutral : 형용사로서 '중립의', '공평한' 의 뜻

① Some universities remain silent on the important issues of the day, justifying their silence on the grounds that universities are neutral and should not become involved. (1995 수능 36번) (몇몇 대학들은 그 시대의 중요한 쟁점에 대해 침묵을 지키고 있고, 대학은 중립적이고 문제에 개입하지 말아야 한다는 이유 등으로 그들의 침묵을 정당화하고 있다.)

1. opponent : 명사로서 '적', '상대방'이란 뜻

① It can be played with or without a net by defining the court and scoring against mistakes, such as dropping the tire in-court or throwing it out of bounds on the opponent's side. (2007 수능 36번) (이것은 네트를 두거나 네트 없이 실시될 수 있는 데, 코트의 경계를 정해서 타이어를 자기 코트에 떨어뜨리거나 그것을 상대방 코트에서 벗어나게 던지는 것과 같은 실수에 점수를 매긴다.)



2. opposite : 형용사로서 '맞은 편의', '정반대의', '적대하는'의 뜻
