Be Careful of Yellow Sand Rain

February 14 is election day for selecting a superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Educational Affairs and the Busan and Kyung Nam region is expected to have tough weather conditions with strong winds and rain containing yellow sand.
According to the Busan regional meteorological office, on February 13 Busan, Ulsan and the Kyung Nam region will have clear skies that will gradually become cloudy due to low atmospheric pressure. Later in the afternoon, the areas will have an eighty to ninety percent chance of rain.
Moreover, starting with quite strong wind conditions at night, some ten to thirty millimeters of rain is forecast for the region until the morning of February 14; the election day for the new superintendent of educational affairs.
In particular, the forecast reports that this rain has a high possibility of mixing with minor yellow sand and will clear by degrees during the morning of February 14.
When the rain stops, temperatures will fall and it will feel chilly. Special care is necessary to look after one's health against colds and other diseases.
On the sea, many places will be covered with thick fog in the morning of February 14 and some areas will face stormy weather with thunder and lightening. The meteorological office asks vessels on work or cruise to pay close attention to weather reports.
Officials at the meteorological office said, "The movement of yellow sand is pretty flexible according to air currents, so people need to listen carefully to future weather announcements. On February 14, the temperature will be the normal seven to ten degrees Celsius, but the minimum temperature in the morning of February 15 will drop to below zero and people will experience some cold air."
