¡°I Want Cosmetic Surgery When I Look in the Mirror¡±

Whether it be man or woman, the most impulsive moment towards plastic surgery is when one looks in the mirror.

Nextcomm Media and research institute Embrain conducted a survey, Plastic Surgery, targeting 1,021 adults (500 male, 521 female) on December 19. Results show 31.8 percent of males and 37.2 percent of females feel the urge to get plastic surgery when they are looking at themselves in the mirror.

Secondarily, it is revealed that other times people get the urge are when, "To see someone who went through surgery; to see celebrities who became beautiful after surgery; and to want to have a date with the opposite sex. When asked, "Do you plan to undergo any cosmetic surgery in the future?" some 51.5 percent of females and 31.4 percent of males answered, "Yes."

The most common body parts people wish to alter are ¡®skin¡¯ and ¡®nose¡¯ for males, whereas females want ¡®double eyelids¡¯ and ¡®skin¡¯.

The main reasons for receiving cosmetic operations are ¡®To become more confident¡¯ for 36.7 percent of men and ¡®Just want to look pretty¡¯ for 63.9 percent of women.

When asked, ¡®How do you prepare for plastic surgery expenses?¡¯ both males and females said ¡®savings¡¯ as the number one solution.

In response to the question, ¡®If your girlfriend or boyfriend or wife say they want to get plastic surgery done, what would you do?¡¯ respondents said, "I will respect my partner¡¯s opinion" for 68.8 percent of males and 72.6 percent of females.

To the question ¡®After cosmetic surgery, would you tell the truth that you underwent the surgery?¡¯, some 82.4 percent of male respondents and 83.9 percent of female answered, "I will tell the truth when they ask me.¡±
