Sub-Zero Temperatures Tomorrow Morning

The temperature fell greatly and Chiree Mountain greets the first ice of the year one day ahead of the onset of winter.
The Chiree Mountain office of the Korean National Parks Authority said that the minimum temperature in places like the peak, Cheon-wang Bong, fell to sub-zero temperatures in the morning of November 6 and the very first ice of the year was formed at the Jang-teo-mok and No-go-dan shelters (1,750 and 1,507 meters above sea level, respectively).
Employee Jo Gyu-nam at the Jang-teo-mok shelter on Chiree mountain delivered a message saying, ¡°With some extended strong wind speeds of ten to twelve meters a second starting in the afternoon of November 5, the temperature has begun to fall. A minimum temperature of two degrees below zero was recorded at dawn on November 6 and ice has formed around some shelters. The feeling of some 100 mountain climbers who made a visit to the mountain to see the sunrise at the peak early in the morning was worse than the actual conditions due to furious wind.
The lowest temperature in the Busan region reached eleven degrees in the morning, dropping by four degrees. Tong-young showed 10.2, Masan was at 8.7, Ulsan reached 7.3, Jinju was 7.3 and Geo-chang made 1.6 degrees. The entire Kyung-nam Province had to face the cold weather with four to five degrees less than the day before.
On November 7, which is the onset of winter, the temperature will fall greater than usual. The Young-nam region, including Busan, will have a low temperature of three degrees below zero in the morning rising to a high of six degrees above zero. The maximum temperature in the afternoon will go up to ten to fifteen degrees Celsius.
Persons at the Busan Metropolitan Meteorological Office said, ¡°With the influence of a cold northwest air current, winds will grow stronger and the temperature will go down a great deal. Ice and frost will occur in many places, especially in inland areas.¡±
