Busan Haeundae Police Station requested an arrest warrant for joint representative Im (33) who operated some P and S Internet gambling sites and two other people, and indicted four employees without physical detention. They are suspected of taking in several billion won by establishing Internet gambling markets, which amount to about thirty billion won. They lured some hundred branches in the nation after starting from making two gambling sites on October 27.

The police also requested arrest warrants for some Choi (36) who sold gambling programs to 420 agencies by making exclusive sales contracts with the P and S sites, and two exclusive agents under the same matter. They have also expanded the investigation against business owners making branch contracts and opening Internet gambling places. Especially, Choi and others operated exclusive sales and circulated hacking programs which could see other people’s cards after intruding the P and S sites. They attracted huge popularity.

According to police, joint representative of the P site Im created a company at a studio apartment in Yang-cheon Gu, Seoul early last month. He used unidentified
bank accounts to exchange cyber money through Internet banking systems and is now charged with raising twelve exclusive sales and 420 branches. Im and others made profits of over twenty billion won in no more than one month from rental fees for programs and dealer fees collected from branches.

In addition, Seoul exclusive agent Choi recruited branches and developed so-called ‘Jjang-gu’ intrusion programs to peek at someone else’s cards. He put the hacking program in portable storage devices and computers and sold them to some Kim (48) and four others. He collected five million won to thirty million won with profits reaching around one hundred million won.
