Investment Style Differs Depending on Blood Types

It is reported that investment styles vary depending on blood types of investors. According to a survey conducted by the securities portal site Paxnet, personal stock investors whose blood types are A and AB prefer stable stock investments with a stable rate of earnings; whereas, those who are blood types B and O tend to aggressively invest, sometimes suffering a loss. The survey was conducted with 1,126 personal stock investors from August 30 to September 8.
The subjects of the survey were personal stock investors: 37% were blood type A, 26% B, 24% O, and 15% AB. The survey revealed that 47% of the subjects with blood type A and 46% of the subjects with blood type B showed relatively higher earnings compared to those with blood types B and O. In case of those with blood type B and O, 41% and 39% earned from their stock investments, respectively.
Regarding the question "Have you ever lost your investment principal, only 15% and 13% of those with blood type A and AB replied "yes," but 20% and 18% of those with blood types B and O answered "yes." This shows that those with blood type B and O tend to lose their investments in the stock market. In conjunction with their investment success, 14% and 12% of those with blood type A and AB replied "yes."
Some experts analyze that this phenomenon may occur because of differences in investment style, depending on blood type. They added that those with blood type A and AB tend to invest on the stock market with a long-term outlook; whereas, those with blood types B and O have a tendency to invest with a short-term perspective.
