Highest Apartment Prices in Minrak-dong

It is surveyed that Minrak-dong in Suyoung-gu has the highest apartment prices in Busan City. According to the findings of the “Trends of Busan and Ulsan Area Apartment Sales in 2006” conducted by Youngsan University, the area was marked highest in Busan. The paper quoted that real estate agents currently deal with apartments costing 7,265,700 won per pyong.

The report analyzed that the area caused the prices of Lotte Castle Giant and Minrak Purugio, opened in 2003, to rise. It also found that Jung-dong in Haeundae-gu was the second highest area in Busan, estimated at 6,838,000 won per pyong.

Apartment prices are rising fastest in Jaesong-dong in Haeundae-gu in Busan where there was a 122.8% rise, estimated at 5,888,400 won per pyong.

The paper says that Yaksa-dong is the area where apartment prices are highest in Ulsan City, estimated at 7,766,900 won per pyong. Gyobang-dong in Masan City has the highest prices in Gyeongnam province, estimated at 6,550,000 won per pyong.

Professor Shim of Youngsan University forecast, “It is anticipated that the real estate market in Busan will be clearly divided into falling areas and rising areas.”
