Kia Motors, Top Sales Growth Rate for Three Consecutive Year

It is amazing that Kia Motors has maintained first place in the auto sales growth rate in the Western European auto market for three consecutive years, while Hyundai also makes advances in the US market.
According to a release from Kia Motors on Jan. 21, ACEA announced its survey entitled ¡°2005 Europe Auto Sales Trends¡±, showing that Kia retained the top growth rate of 39% by selling 230,743 cars in 15 EU countries and 3 countries of EFTA. It means that market share in the EU auto market by Kia Motors is up from 1.1% in 2004 to 1.6% in 2005.
SSangyong Motors participated in the ¡®Brussels International Motor Show¡¯, which was the first international motor show held in Western Europe this year. Ssangyong exported 41,150 cars to Western Europe last year and set a target of 51,000 cars, an increase of 25% over last year. It is expecting to sell more than 2000 car in Belgium, up more than 120% compared to last year. The company exhibited nine different models, such as Kyron, New Rexton, and Rodius, in the show with an aggressive marketing strategy in Western European countries. Also it is supposed that Ssanyong Motors will intensively promote Kyron and New Rexton that have been newly developed, mainly for Western auto markets.
