Military Medical System Needs to be Changed.

The reality of the medical system in the military has been exposed, in that Noh Choonggug died of stomach cancer only half a month after he was discharged from the army. It is shocking that the medical records of Mr. Noh were falsified. There are many problems in the military medical system, such as out-of-date medical equipment and facilities, and lack of specialists. What is worse, the system is rotten. It is high time that the medical system be changed in the military. Immediately.
At first, there was no opinion on symptoms of cancer in the check-up records written by an army surgeon. When the parents of Mr. Noh requested the military to show a copy of the records, they added contents saying, "A malignant tumor was found, they needed to explain it to the patient." The Ministry of National Defense has no excuse not only because they said, "the military medical center took a moderate step about the patient," but also because the army surgeon, immorally manipulated the check-up records. The military medical system is a blind spot, so the result of Mr. Noh's death was destined.
The problems of medical facilities and equipment have not just happened recently in the military. Even when a soldier catches a cold, he wants to go to a private hospital instead of a military hospital.
With this incident as a turning point, they should renovate the conditions and atmosphere of the military medical system so that a soldier can receive a medical check-up as he pleases. In order to realize the renovation, they need to procure financial resources in order to have the necessary equipment and modernized facilities, as well as have specialists on staff. They also need to add complementary medical systems, including a reporting system for evacuated casualties.
Meaningful renovation of the military is not that the plan requires astronomical amounts of money, but that they realize parents may let their sons go into the army without anxiety.
