Recruits Looking for other Occupations or Retirement

A survey reveals that nine out of ten recruits consider transferring to another occupation or retiring. According to a survey conducted Oct. 31 by Korea Recruit, 91.7% of 628 recruits with less than one-year experience responded that they have deeply considered transferring their occupations or retiring.

The survey found that main causes influencing them to think so were unmatched aptitude (35%), paycheck dissatisfaction (36.3%) and insufficient welfare (29.8%).

More interestingly, they said the proper time to seek another occupation is one or two years after being employed (36.9%), and 34.4% said the better time to move is two or three years after being employed, and 22.9% replied it is better to decide within one year.

Regarding the question, ¡°What will you do if your new recruit notifies you of his or her resignation?¡± 63.8% of the personnel said they ¡®won¡¯t persuade them; whereas 36.2% said they will.
