Government Strives to Prevent Bird Flu Crisis

The government warns of bird flu in advance and has designed a special prevention team of international epidemiologists along with the private sector. The organization consists of the Premier, each minister in the cabinet, and the Korean Medical Association including approximately 20 special doctors. They will comprehensively prevent and suppress an epidemic. In case bird-flu spreads in a local area, they will patrol the area thoroughly twice a day.
In South Korea, they have not found any case of bird flu infecting humans, thanks to prevention, although there have been some cases of infected fowl. They lost some property, but fortunately there weren't any casualties. It is natural that the UN highly regards the rapid reaction policy for the prevention of flu in South Korea. They need to remain vigilant against bird flu.
In England, they said, "if bird flu breaks out there will be at least 50 thousand casualties." In Romania, they found a mutation of the bird flu virus. They say that the mutated virus cannot be treated with flu vaccine called Tommy flu, the storage of which is prepared in each country.
If people overreact to bird flu, they may have a bad influence on the national economy.
International experts on bird flu say, "the casualties of bird flu were usually only fowl raisers, so it is a matter of grave concern to not drive the world into panic over bird flu."
The government should try to alleviate too much concern by the people. At the same time, the government and medical circles will have to try their best to invent an early vaccine against bird flu virus infecting humans. The people also should have a sense of hygiene and wash their hands when they come home.
