South Koreans interested in Ulsan competition.

The 86th edition of the national athletic competition will take place in Ulsan from October 14th for 7 days. For this athletic competition, approximately 30,000 athletes and officials from 16 cities, including some Koreans living overseas, will take part in 41 events. It will be the largest in history. Ulsan City completed the main stadium in preparation for the athletic competition last August, 25th. Among the 56 sports venues, 7 were rebuilt and the other 49 sports facilities were renovated. Everything is set for the competition.
Ulsan City holds the athletic festival under the slogan "Gather all together in Ulsan, go farther to the world". Advocating the causes of harmony, reunification, prosperity, culture and tourism, they define their attitude toward the development of the 21st Century in South Korea and Ulsan. Over one million Ulsan citizens are ready for a successful athletic competition. They have devoted themselves to preparing the event.
The national sports festival has taken placed 85 times, but this is the first time for Ulsan City to host the event. Since it is their first national sports festival, they should take every measure possible without any mistakes.
The contents of the sports festival are important. In addition, they will use the Busan hockey stadium, Dongeu University baseball field and Kuduck stadium. in order to run the events well. They have also prepared accommodations and transportation, as well as facilities for the people visiting Ulsan from all over the country. However, some people indicate that they lack some accommodations for athletes' families and other visitors.
It cannot be overestimated that national sports events have been a springboard for the development of South Korea as a power sports country, though some South Korean people have lost enthusiasm for the national sports festival.
South Koreans should turn all eyes and ears to this event to maintain the development of sports in South Korea. With the Ulsan national sports festival as a turning point, South Koreans should be interested in the national sports events and give their full support for it.
